Our family favourite dining place. Nice food and reasonable price. The shop even has a big table for a big family lunch/dinner/special occasion (pre-book). Owner Jason and wife Jessica are nice and friendly. They even serve dishes out of the menu upon request. Living in South AKL and would frequently go there for a meal. Highly recommended.

It's not the Noodle Canteen one usually found in many places. The current owner bought this business a few years ago but decided to keep its name. Their roast meat (char siew, roast duck, etc) was very good even though it's a bit salty. I unsuccessfully tried to find another place serving wonton noodles soup as good and as affordable as them. That's why I went there every other week.

This is best place to enjoy authentic Cantonese cuisine (some call it Hong Kong style). We have been have great meals since 2014 or so. Jason is a very cheerful host and always smiling when serving the customer. The price is a classified as "affordable" for poor Uni student like me. Food here are serviced warm and quick, the restaurant have ample seats and table. On top of that, this place is always clean and tiny. I highly recommend you all to tray out some of the yummy Cantonese dishes at Noodle Canteen, Takapuna. Cheers and take care Jason and crew members!
